"Keeping Our Promise" - Dec. 1st at The Living Room at W New York-Times Square

In celebration and recognition of December 1st, 2015 which was World AIDS Day and Giving Tuesday, Konbit Mizik, IndieFork, Caribbean Apparel, and Let's Dutch hosted "Keeping Our Promise" at the Living Room / W Hotel in Times Square to raise funds for two very special initiatives: 1) Pwojè Sante - Konbit Mizik is planning a concert and public health initiative in Port-au-Prince which will consist of HIV testing, education, referrals to local providers and resources, music, performances, and more. We will be releasing details soon...

and 2. Pwojè Lekòl- the renovation of Marion Primary School, Corail, Haiti and Melissa's Hope Orphanage in Port-au-Prince.

We were blessed to feature the amazing talents of jazz vocalist Pauline Jean, Markus Schwartz, and other extraordinary musicians, as well as DJ Kevin Mason on the turntables all night.

We'd like to thank The W Hotel and The Living Room, the musicians and DJ, silent auction sponsors, and of course, our generous donors and supporters who made the night an overwhelming success.
