Carnival Clean-Up
Champs de Mars, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, March 1st, 2017 - Konbit Mizik was proud to lead a Netwayaj (tr. street cleaning) initiative at 5 a.m. in Champs de Mars the morning after 'Kanaval'. In partnership with Haiti Clean System, a locally-run group of street cleaners, and other community volunteers, we cleared over 1,000 cubic feet of garbage from the streets at sunrise and helped Haiti get up and running without missing a beat.
