Kanaval Timoun (Kids' Carnival) at Sapotille

Pacot, Port-au-Prince, Haiti - With the incredible support of the Links Incorporated, Greater Queens Chapter of NY, Konbit Mizik once again visited Marie Josée Laguerre and her children at the Sapotille Group Home in Pacot last week. We brought individualized gift bags to each child comprised of pen pal letters, soaps, toothbrushes, towels, underwear, toys, and other miscellaneous sanitation items. We played trivia games, sang, and danced. The children at Sapotille eagerly wrote letters back to the children of Links Incorporated, and we look forward to continuing the long distance learning and friendship. Words can't describe the elation felt by all.
